Diversity Month February 2013: call for speakers
17 October 2012
UCL is currently calling for speakers to showcase their research as part of Diversity Month in February 2013.
Overview
Diversity Month takes place every February and aims to
raise awareness and engagement with equalities and diversity issues at UCL. The
events aspire to stimulate debate and showcase UCL and other relevant research.
Each year Diversity Month events have grown in popularity and last year the majority were well attended by staff and students from across the University. Last year's programme can be found here: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/hr/equalities/diversity_month2012.php
Next year's Diversity Month theme will be based on UCL's Grand Challenge of Intercultural Interaction. This is an institution-wide programme to examine the causes and features of social and cultural diversity, assess their implications, and devise new ways to think about them.

Any member of staff is welcome to submit a proposal for a Diversity Month event. Please contact Sonal Bharadva s.bharadva@ucl.ac.uk to find out more.
