Master's scholarships at Yenching Academy (Peking University)

Yenching Academy is currently accepting applications from eligible UCL students for the

Masters scholarships at Yenching Academy (Peking University) org/" target="_self">2016-17 Master's Programme in China Studies. The Academy is keen to award scholarships to exceptional students from top universities around the world who have a bachelor's degree, an exemplary academic record, and a keen interest in topics involving China and intercultural dialogue.

Eligibility

A prospective Yenching Scholar:

  • Is typically under the age of 26 on August 31, 2016
  • Has an outstanding academic record
  • Has demonstrated leadership skills
  • Is active in extracurricular activities
  • Is actively engaged with the community and has a strong sense of social responsibility
  • Has a strong moral character

Academy courses will be available in both English and Chinese. It will be possible for international students to complete their degrees with courses taught in English. Chinese language study will be required for all international students, those with an advanced level of Chinese will be encouraged to take courses taught in Chinese.

The final deadline for applications is 31 January 2016.
