Staff: register now to attend this year’s graduation ceremonies in July and September!

This year’s graduation ceremonies are fast approaching, and we’d love to have you join us onstage as our students graduate from UCL. The presence and support of our academics and professional services staff is incredibly meaningful, and it's thanks to each and every one of you that our past ceremonies have been as brilliant as they were. 

This year we’ve simplified the registration process for staff, and all you have to do is fill in this short form telling us which ceremonies you'd like to attend, and whether or not you already have your own academic dress. Please see below for the form.

There are two sets of Graduation Ceremonies this year: from 7–14 July 2023, predominantly for Postgraduates, at ExCeL London, and from 4–8 September 2023, predominantly for Undergraduates, at the Royal Festival Hall. You can find out the dates for your faculty’s ceremonies on the 2023 Graduation Schedule. 

Alumni ceremonies

You will also see three ‘alumni ceremonies’ listed on the form. These will be non-Faculty-specific ceremonies for graduates from the last three years, many of whom have not been able to attend a ceremony due to difficulties with travel during the pandemic. We want to ensure these students have the chance to experience a graduation ceremony and celebrate with their friends and lecturers, and as such we would be so grateful, if you are able, to register for at least one alumni ceremony's Platform Party. Your support means so much to our students and we'd love as many people as possible to congratulate and help cheer them on.
