HR and IT to go live in MyServices on Monday 5 August

1 August 2024

Do you have an IT issue? Are you recruiting for a new role in your team, or have a recording issue within Lecturecast? From next week, you’ll be able to find the answer to these and many more queries on our new platform MyServices.

On Monday 5 August, HR, ISD, Advanced Research Computing (ARC), Data & Insight, and Innovation & Enterprise will be the latest areas to go live on the new platform following a successful launch for Finance last month.

All HR requests currently on our existing system, Remedyforce, will move to MyServices – this includes employee recruitment and onboarding new starters, as well as queries about contracts, probation or payroll.

IT requests will also move to MyServices – and whether you need technical support with your laptop, help with being able to print or guidance about software, you’ll be able to find the support you need there.

Access to Faculty IT support will continue to work as it does today.

Visit our SharePoint site for a full list of the type of requests you’ll be able to find in MyServices.

Can I still email requests?

For HR support, the HR Services email address will no longer be active. You will need to raise requests via the MyServices Portal.

For Recruitment support, the Recruitment email address will no longer be active for internal use. You will need to raise requests via the MyServices Portal. External candidates will be able to continue using that email address.

For IT support, you can continue to email the IT Services email address, which will auto generate a request in MyServices. You will be directed to the portal for all further updates about your support query.

For ARC support, you can continue to access email support in the same way you do today.

Any existing requests you have logged prior to MyServices’ go-live will be completed in Remedyforce. You will not need to raise them again in MyServices. Remedyforce will be available in a ‘read only’ capacity until the end of September to complete all existing tickets.

To mark the launch, Donna Dalrymple, UCL’s Chief People Officer, is the latest senior leader to share her thoughts on the benefits of MyServices in a new video:

Shared mailboxes

Do you use a shared mailbox? These can be set up on the new platform so you can continue to raise tickets and see visibility as a team. Please email the ESM team to have your shared mailbox set up in MyServices.

External users

UCL staff and students automatically have access to MyServices. If you have any external partners who wish to use MyServices however, they will need to register using their email address and a password first. Once registered, they will then be able to log in to MyServices. Take a look at our instructions for external users here

Web page signposting

Notice any links or signposting to Remedyforce after IT and HR requests have gone live? Please flag them to the ESM programme team.

If you have an e-signature on your Outlook account that currently links to an old Remedyforce link, make sure it is updated to direct colleagues to MyServices instead.
