Update 16:15 5/11/24 - Teaching timetables, CMIS and CMIS-Go access restored
5 November 2024
Access to the online timetable, CMIS and CMIS-Go has now been restored.
Update: 5pm, 31 October 2024
We’re continuing to make progress in addressing service interruptions affecting the following systems:
- Online Timetable – Personal Timetable feature
- CMIS – Timetable
- CMIS Go – Room Bookings
- UCL Go – Personal Timetable feature
- Lecturecast Scheduler
We’d like to remind staff that students have been directed to the RegisterUCL app as an alternative for timetable viewing to reduce disruption to schedules (see update below).
Our teams are working hard to investigate the systems affected to restore full services as soon as possible. As part of this work, we’re also implementing measures to prevent similar issues in the future.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work on a resolution to this issue. We will keep you updated on our progress and notify you when the affected services have been restored.
Teaching timetables: Missing information
We will provide further information as soon are more details are available, or when the issue is resolved.
The services affected are as follows:
- CMIS (timetabling application) – unavailable
- CMIS Go (room booking system) – unavailable
- UCL Go – app is working but Timetable unavailable
- Online Timetable – unavailable
- Lecturecast Scheduler – unavailable but existing bookings will still be recorded
If you are a student, please rest assured that mitigations will be put in place if missing information has an impact on teaching or on your ability to attend classes.
Students should be able to view timetables via the Register UCL app – if you have not downloaded this, you can find details of how to do so here: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/students/life-ucl/attendance-ucl
We are very sorry for any disruption that has been caused this morning. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.
