UCL’s newest platform, MyServices, will look a little different from next week following a redesign based on user feedback.

MyServices was launched in the summer and has so far seen over 55,000 requests raised in the system.

MyServices is an easier way to find, request and interact with services at UCL and is replacing our previous platform Remedyforce.

MyServices portal refresh

Some of the changes to the portal will include:

  • A more prominent position for the New Requests
  • A greater focus on ‘open requests’ to reduce duplicates requests being created
  • Users will see a list of the ‘most popular’ knowledge articles instead of ‘recently added’ making it more useful resource
  • The Broadcast section – which provides notifications – has been moved up and given greater focus
  • A form at the bottom of the portal has been added to help us to gather user feedback

The changes to the MyServices portal will take effect from Monday 23 September.

We will continue to release changes on an iterative basis, based on feedback from users, and as enhancements to the underlying platform allow.

What’s next for MyServices?

We are working closely with the remaining areas who will be moving to MyServices. They include Commercial and Procurement (New Supplier Requests), Research Innovation Services, remaining areas of Finance and HR, and cross-functional workflows. More information, including scheduled go-live dates, will be shared soon. Visit our SharePoint site for more information on MyServices.
