UK scientists find link between Alzheimer’s and surgery

A study led by Professor John Collinge (UCL Institute of Prion Diseases) found new evidence of amyloid pathology transmission, related to Alzheimer’s disease, in lab mice and historic medical treatments. Professor Bart De Strooper (UK Dementia Research Institute at UCL) comments.
