At least 22 weeks needed to organise new referendum

The time needed to pass legislation to hold a referendum, coupled with the time needed to organise the campaign and hold the vote itself, means that a new referendum on EU membership would take at least 22 weeks to organise, explain experts at the UCL Constitution Unit.
