Has Omicron outbreak already peaked in South Africa?

Professor Christina Pagel (UCL Mathematics) said that Omicron infections had been increasing in South Africa at a rate of around 25 per cent per day but over the last four days infections dipped below this trend, suggesting cases may be rounding off.
