Warnings over new Covid variant with high number of mutations

The B.1.1.529 Covid variant has been found in Botswana, South Africa and Hong Kong but Professor Francois Balloux (UCL Genetics Institute) says “it is difficult to predict how transmissible it may be at this stage.”
