New Arcturus variant is the most contagious Covid strain so far but UK cases are falling

The Arcturus strain of Covid 19 will spread best in countries that saw little of the Kraken variant, such as India and China, says Professor Francois Balloux (UCL Biosciences) who explained why the UK hasn't had a surge in cases despite the virulent new strain.
