New image reveals magnetic fields at edge of Milky Way’s central black hole

A new image from the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) collaboration involving Dr Ziri Younsi (UCL Space & Climate Physics) has uncovered strong and organised magnetic fields spiralling from the edge of the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*).
