What is Novichok?

Professor Andrea Sella (UCL Chemistry) traces the origins of the potent nerve agent Novichok from an insecticide discovered in 1930s Germany, through its stockpiling as a weapon of mass destruction during the cold war by the US and USSR, and as a modern murder weapon.
