Realistic touch technology unveiled at the British Science Festival

A fingertip device that mimics the sensation of interacting with real objects, developed by Professor Helge Wurdemann and Dr Sara Abad (UCL Mechanical Engineering), paves the way for applications in diagnosing loss of touch, robotic surgery and hazardous waste handling.
