Academic Skills Workshop: The Faculty of Brain Sciences will run a repeat of the Academic Skills Workshop on 3rd October at 5pm. This is optional, but attendance is encouraged, especially if you are new to study in the UK, or returning after a period out of study. Register here.
Following the group strand meeting students on MA Linguistics specialisations will have an opportunity to discuss your module selection and any specific research aims, the venue for this will be provided on the day.
You should attend all of the induction events that you can and, as a minimum, consider the programme welcome meetings to be mandatory.
All students also need to attend one of the four Library tour and induction sessions. You should register for a specific session online here. Only book one of the four sessions, multiple bookings will be deleted and you will have to book again.
