PALS Step Challenge

We invite you to take part in our wellbeing and community initiative to walk 1,000 steps a day and then contact someone else in our community to do the same.

PALS step Challenge

We have launched the #PALSstepChallenge

As many of us are working from home or self-isolating at this unprecedented time with the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we are running a UCL PALS wellbeing and comminuty initiative called "The PALS Step Challenge". The aim is to keep us all physically active, and provide a platform for us to look out for one another.

If you take part - you will receive a daily reminder (e.g. via email or text) to walk 1,000 steps (this can be on the spot if you need to stay indoors). The reminder will be from someone else in PALS who is taking part in the initiative. Once you've completed your 1,000 steps you then remond the next person in the chain to do their 1,000 steps.

We'd love it if you could pledge these steps towards our #PALSMoonWalk initiative initiative too. Find out more about that inititaive here: ucl.ac.uk/pals/pals-moonwalk

To let us know you're up for taking part - please email t.meakin@ucl.ac.uk and we will add you to the list. We will then be in contact with who will be checking in with you, and who you need to check in with.

Just let us know you want to take part and we'll link you into the chain.

Happy walking!
