Fatima has a first degree in Clinical Psychology and an MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology from the Anna Freud Centre. She is a trained psychotherapist with a specialised interest in developmental issues and childhood trauma. Fatima is currently undertaking PhD research in the department of Health and Clinical Psychology at UCL and her research focuses on risk and resilience within the context of preventative child maltreatment interventions for parents. She also works as a freelance researcher focusing on areas of social policy and developmental psychology.
