IPLS Student Welcome 2018

IPLS is holding a Welcome for new students on 11-12 October with lectures, seminars and workshops that cover key topics and techniques in biological physics. The events below are open to anyone interested, not just new students, so feel free to join! The schedule of events is detailed below.

Friday 12th October

11.00-12.00: Bart Hoogenboom – Some physical approaches to biology at the nanoscale

13.00-14.00: Andela Saric – Bad proteins united: physics of protein aggregation
14:00-15:00: Alan Lowe – A game of life and death

15.30-16.30: Ravi Desai – Making really small things via microfabrication

17.00 onwards: IPLS Social (Exmouth Arms, 1 Starcross Street, London, NW1 2HR). Please join IPLS for our first social of the year!
