Join a vibrant research community working at the interface between Physics and Biology at UCL. Over 75 students and post-docs work on interdisciplinary topics at UCL in groups affiliated with IPLS.
Students present and discuss their research with researchers from Physics and Biology in a special monthly seminar series for students and post-docs. This is followed by a social gathering to allow students to interact with their peers and extend their network groups.
UCL provides a wealth of intellectual stimulation with seminar series featuring internationally renowned academics in Physics, Biology, and Biophysics discussing a broad variety of topics.
Students are supported in their research through access to state of the art research facilities such as the Biological Making Workshop, the Institute of Making, the Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) facility at the LCN, and several microscopy facilities.
