Partner with UCL HEPL

We create opportunities for multisectoral and multidisciplinary partnerships for the co-production of impactful knowledge.

Want to collaborate with us?

Whether you work in an NGO, government, university, philanthropic organisation or the private sector, the Health Economics Policy Lab builds networks to co-create knowledge for positive impact. If you have an idea for a project or event collaboration, please contact a UCL economist.

Since the founding of UCL, collaboration with like-minded partners has enabled our institution to achieve ambitious goals and have a global impact in many areas.

Demand for the expertise of Health Economists has expanded significantly over the last decade and was starkly highlighted by the pandemic. Funders now routinely expect health economics components of most major grants evaluating health service interventions.

Within the health sector specifically, demand outstrips the supply of experts needed by the pharmaceutical industry, insurance sector, large private consultancies, civil service (e.g., NICE, United Nations bodies (World Bank and World Health Organization), global charities such as GAVI and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria), and the university sector.

As the multisectoral/multidisciplinary nature of effective public health is better understood, along with the benefits of methods used by Health Economists to prioritise services and maximise the effectiveness of spending, demand for these experts is also expanding outside of the health sector to include education, child development and welfare in the short term.
