About this seminar
Both immersed themselves in a transformative four-month residency at the Office for Health Inequalities and Disparities (OHID), an integral part of the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). Their projects centered around shaping a robust monitoring and evaluation framework for London's strategy addressing structural racism and inequalities.
During this session, Asta and Shoba will share insights into their experiences at OHID, navigating the challenges of adapting to varied work cultures and environments, and elucidating on the invaluable contributions the Fellowship has made to their career trajectories. The conversation promises to be enriching and thought-provoking, concluding with an audience Q&A session.
The session will be chaired by Neil Morisetti , Professor of Climate and Resource Security in the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy. He has rich experience of both government and acdemia, working as the UK Government Climate and Energy Security Envoy and then the Foreign Secretary’s Special Representative for Climate Change.
