Collaborative Research Manifesto in Chinese

The Chinese version of the manifesto was created by a group of Chinese native speakers consisting of one professional translator (Weiting Qing), one experienced poster designer (Yukou Lai), and two early career researchers (Nuoya Tan and Xiaoxiao Niu). The project included a series of individual-level translations and poster design, and group-level focused discussions, starting from December 2022 to February 2023. We accustomed the manifesto to Chinese culture and academic context when appropriate (please see supplementary document for the rationale of translation and redesign). The translated manifesto aims to share the spirit of collaborative scientific research of UCL early career researchers with Chinese academics and the public. We expect the translation to assist in constructing an understanding, determined, open, and creative atmosphere for UK-China research collaborations.
