Medicine MBBS and Allied Health courses The Medicine MBBS BSc and MSc programmes in Allied Heath are funded differently from other programmes. Medicine MBBS BSc The Medicine MBBS BSc at UCL takes 6 years. The funding for years 5 and 6 is different from the funding for years 1-4. MBBS BSc intercalation Some MBBS students may choose to study an additional Master's or PhD programme during their MBBS study. This is called intercalation. Allied Health courses MSc programmes in Speech and Language Sciences, Dietetics, and Orthoptics are funded differently from other programmes.
