The Unite Foundation scholarship provides care leaver/experienced and estranged students with free purpose-built Unite Students accommodation for up to three years of study.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- hold UK home fee status with right to access UK Student Finance loans;
- be aged 25 or under on 1st September 2024;
- be a care leaver, care experienced student (Scotland) or are estranged from both parents as confirmed by Student Finance;
- hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree for the 2024/25 intake; or
- currently studying a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL;
- be in receipt of, or applying for, student finance or NHS funding for day to day living costs, reflecting care leaver/care experienced/estranged student status.
- be studying (or about to start) on your first undergraduate degree.

Scholarships are awarded in accordance with the schemes priorities which are detailed in the Guidance notes below.

More Information
The accommodation offered will normally be at St Pancras Way, 11 St Pancras Way, NW1 0PT.
The nearest underground stations are King's Cross, Camden Town, Mornington Crescent, Euston and St Pancras International. Scholars will be offered a single en suite bedroom in a shared flat with a communal fitted kitchen; the flat will be shared with a mixture of other students.
Your accommodation will be available to you all year round. This includes through the holiday periods – for as long as you are still eligible for the scholarship.
