UCL Security and Crime Science collaborates with a number of organisations from the public and private sector who have funded PhD students on our SECReT programme, offered a work placement to one of our BSc Security and Crime Science students, or otherwise provided tangible support such as data or equipment, e.g. for our MSc students' research projects. Students at each level work on projects with the aim of solving problems of direct interest to these organisations, allowing them to not only carry out leading research, but also to learn the valuable skills that will turn them into future leaders.

Our SECReT students have worked with organisations such as RAPISCAN Systems, Selex Galilieo, the UK Home Office, a range of UK policing agencies, Cranfield Defence and Security and many others.

Our BSc Security and Crime Science students have completed work placements with Slough Borough Council, BuroHappold Engineering, ASOS, Theseus Risk Management, NSPCC, Stop the Traffik and Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
