William Turnbull at Chatsworth, a major exhibition of Turnbull's work including large-scale outdoor, sculptures, paintings and drawings is showing at Chatworth House and Garden, curated by Yorkshire Sculpture Park with Alex Turnbull. Beyond Time, a film about the life of William Turnbull is showing on BBC Four on Tuesday 12 March at 10.30pm and again on Friday 15 March 2013 at 00.30am.

Slade alumuna Terry Ryu Kim has won the 2013 Catlin Art Prize for her installation Screening Solution I, II & III.The winner was announced on Wednesday 22 May 2013 and nominees included Slade alumni Steven Allan and Robert Crosse. See www.artcatlin.com.

An exhibition exploring the work of Dorothy Mead (1928–1975), Recognising Dorothy Mead: David Bomberg, the Slade, and After, is showing at Borough Road Gallery, 103 Borough Road, London, SE1 0AA, from 26 April – 27 July 2013. See www.lsbu.ac.uk.

Slade MFA student Sarah Cameron has been awarded a commission by the Grant Museum, funded by Deparment of Culture, Media and Sport, Wolfson Museum and Galleries Improvement Fund. ‘Viewpoint’ is a permanent art installation in the foyer of the Grant Museum of Zoology, Rockefeller Building, University College London, 21 University Street, London WC1E 6DE and opened on Monday 18 March 2013. Priest and artist Gianni Notarianni O.S.A. (Order of Saint Augustine), and artists Robert Phillips, Rose Davey, Donal Moloney, Kieren Reed and Sarah Kate Wilson have invited eighteen established and emerging artists including Ed Allington, Nick Goss, Bruce McLean and Jo Volley to show in Chapter, the inaugural show at Austin Forum. The exhibition takes place at the Augustinian Centre, 55 Fulham Palace Road, London W6 8AU, from 21 June - 4 July 2013 and the show is open Tuesday - Sunday 11am - 7pm, and Monday by appointment; email austin-forum@hotmail.com.

Slade Graduate Research 2013 is now available to download. This e-book represents a selection of the work of MFA and MA students who participated in one or more of this year’s Graduate Research Weeks at the Slade Research Centre, Woburn Square and demonstrates the broad range of experimentation, collaboration and discussion, and reflects the spirit of ambition and enthusiasm that has energised the programme.

The Slade is very honoured to announce two new prizes, for excellence in printmaking, as a result of a generous bequest from the estate of Mr Anthony Dawson. Gifted annually for the next five years in memoriam of Mr Anthony Dawson the two prizes will be awarded to students who exhibit excellence in printmaking as follows:
