Withdrawal of MD(Res)

It has now been confirmed that Academic Committee has approved a proposal that the MD(Res) degree be withdrawn at UCL. This follows on from discussions held at UCL Research Degrees Committee earlier in June on a report submitted by the MD(Res) Review Committee.

This means that UCL will not be open to MD(Res) applications for 2021/22 entry. In addition, no deferrals to 2021/22 entry are to be agreed. Applications will be allowed until entry point December 2020, unless a Department has agreed for an entry beyond that, but not for the entry entire 2020/21 academic year. Those already in UCL Select will remain, and existing students are not affected and will continue their programme.

Updates to the UCL Prospectus have now been made to reflect the withdrawal of the MD(Res).
