January Examinations

Centrally organised resit examinations for undergraduate finalists and completing taught postgraduate students from 2019/20 will take place from 11 to 21 January 2021.  Continuing students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) with a trailed resit will take these in the main examination period in April-May 2021. 

The examinations included will be those that were delivered centrally via Moodle in May-June 2020, and have eligible resit candidates. These will be run as 24 hour timed on-line examinations and delivered via Moodle.   

Teaching departments will need to ensure that any resit candidates have been attached to the relevant 2020/21 Moodle pages so that they can access the question papers. 

The draft timetable and candidate lists will be issued to Examination Liaison Officers on 19 October, and the deadline for responses to these will be 23 October. It will be particularly important for you to check the candidate lists as we will limit access to the Moodle exams tabs to those on our candidate lists only. 

The final timetable will be published to students via email on 30 October, and will also be viewable via Portico after that date.
