Safeguarding training for SRS staff

As part of the ongoing commitment to the safeguarding of staff and students, UCL HR have introduced a new online Safeguarding E Learning Course.   

All staff who require an enhanced or standard DBS check should have received an email directly, requesting them to complete the online course as part of their mandatory training.

Staff roles that involve interactions with under 18s or vulnerable adults should complete the course. In addition, staff in teams that may become involved in safeguarding matters indirectly during the course of your employment, or due the department you work in, should also take the time to complete this mandatory training.

The course takes around 45 minutes. Please complete it as soon as possible.

Student Support and Wellbeing staff should complete the more extensive Barnardos training rather than this online training, but they can of course do this as well if they would like to.
