PGTA Opportunities Available for 2019/20

SSEES has a number of exciting PGTA (Postgraduate Teaching Assistant) opportunities available for PGR students to teach on our undergraduate modules, starting in September 2019. Modules across all four disciplines (Economics and Business; History; Languages and Cuture and Politics and Sociology) are recruiting.  

PGTAs are principally engaged to facilate and lead undergraduate tutorials, with a typical tutorial group consisting of between 10 and 12 students. PGTAs are also often asked to undertake formative assessment and feedback, and examination invigilation, for which additional remuneration is paid. Module coordinators provided detailed guidance and support to PGTAs on their modules.
