Dr Lorman awarded The George Blazyca Prize 2019

We are proud to share that Dr Thomas Lorman, Lecturer (Teaching) in Modern Central European History, has been awarded The George Blazyca Prize 2019 by The British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES) for his publication 'The Making of the Slovak People’s Party: Religion, Nationalism and the Culture War in Early 20th-Century Europe' (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019). Dr Lorman particularly wanted to express his thanks to the whole SSEES community that helped make this success possible, especially his colleagues, students and the wonderful library staff who have provided support, advice and inspiration.
