Dr Maria Lenn, SSEES Alumna, awarded an MBE

We are incredibly proud to share the news that Dr Maria Bernice Lenn, UCL SSEES Alumna, was recognised for her services to unemployed people in London and awarded an MBE in The New Year's Honours 2021 list. Maria, who completed her PhD in Social Sciences in 2000, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the charity Suited & Booted Centre, which helps unemployed, vulnerable and low-income men into employment by providing interview clothing and interview advice. Congratulation!
