Call for papers: SLOVO Journal

We welcome research articles, as well as book and film review submissions from postgraduate students and researchers in any discipline, from history to politics and anthropology to literature, as it relates to Central and Eastern Europe, as well as — and especially so — Central Asia. We also encourage submissions relating to Ukraine. Additionally, we welcome translations of works previously unpublished in English, as well as original poetry.

We are especially keen to receive book and film review submissions this cycle. Here are some works which we encourage you to review:

The deadline for submission is Thursday 15^th December at 23:59 (GMT). All submissions should be made via Slovo’s website: https://student-journals.ucl.ac.uk/slovo/submissions/
