Dr Grazina Bielousova and Anna Stanisz-Lubowiecka recognised by the Higher Education Academy

Congratulations to Dr Grazina Bielousova, Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Sociology, who has been recognised as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). The Arena assessors commended Grazina for her understanding of how quality assurance can play a key role in enhancing how we teach and what we offer students; her success in both promoting student voice and encouraging high-quality work; her willingness to embrace feedback and make positive changes in response to it; and her deep level of care for her students.

Congratulations also to Anna Stanisz-Lubowiecka, PGTA and PhD candidate, who has been recognised as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). The Arena assessors commended Anna for being very student-focused in her teaching practice; creating inclusive, welcoming and proactive learning environments; using Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to enhance her practice; and engaging with Continuous Module Dialogue to encourage student feedback and involvement.
