It’s important to cancel any room bookings as soon as you know you no longer need the room. This frees up the room for others to book.
Before you start
You’ll need:
- a UCL internet connection (on the premises, or remotely via Desktop@UCL Anywhere)
- your UCL username and password to log into CMISGo.
- 1. Cancel a room booking in CMISGo
If you’ve booked a room through the CMISGo booking system, you’ll need to cancel it in CMISGo.

- Log into CMISGo
- Select ‘my bookings’ under the ‘bookings’ section in the top right.
- Select the booking you need to cancel (tick box on the left of the booking information).
- Click the ‘cancel bookings’ button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
- Confirm by clicking ‘yes’ at the bottom of the pop up.
Your booking will now have been cancelled. It will no longer appear under your ‘my bookings’ section of CMISGo.
- 2. Cancel a booking via MyServices
If you’ve booked a room through the Room Bookings team, you’ll need to cancel it through the MyServices portal.

Log on to MyServices and place a request. Please provide the following information about your booking:
- Room number/name
- Building
- Date
- Time of your booking
Someone from the Room Bookings team will confirm that they’ve cancelled your booking.
