New Programme Initiation

Strategic Planning Partners support faculties with new programme initiation, otherwise known as ‘Stage Zero’ of the new initial programme planning and initiation process.

The new initial programme planning and initiation process assesses the viability of proposed new programmes before the full design process gets underway. We support academic programme teams to develop their Stage Zero proposals by considering the impact of the new programme on the existing programme portfolio. Stage Zero proposals are considered by the Financial Planning and Performance Committee (FPPC) before beginning the Programme and Module Amendment and Approval process (PMAP).
