Visit the Student Health and Wellbeing Hub
24 August 2023
The Student Health and Wellbeing Hub is running from 19 September to 29 September to ensure that you can find out how to look after yourself throughout your time at UCL, and know how to access support if you need it.
Whether you’re new to UCL or a returning student, staying healthy during your studies and knowing where to turn for support can be a challenge. To help you better understand your health care options and the various support services at UCL, Student Support and Wellbeing have organised a Student Health and Wellbeing Hub, located on the mezzanine level of the UCL Student Centre.
At the Hub, there will be Student Support and Wellbeing staff to answer your questions, along with several of our external wellbeing partners who we work closely with. Our team of friendly ambassadors will also be there who can talk to you about:
- How to register with a doctor (a GP, or general practitioner)
- Support services available to you, when to use them and how to access them
- How the health care system works in the UK
Each day there will also be several activities which you can get involved in, including giant garden games, opportunities to meet our much-loved therapy dogs, as well as a free water bottle giveaway!
The Hub will be open from Tuesday 19 September to Friday 29 September, from 11am to 5pm.
We look forward to seeing you there!
