Changing your mode of attendance
Before making the decision to change your mode of attendance, it is important to consider your options and the implications of making this change. You should contact your personal tutor, departmental tutor, administrator or your supervisor to discuss this change. Changes must be approved by the Departmental Tutor. Some changes must also be approved by the Faculty Tutor.
Tier 4 Students
UCL does not offer part-time study for Tier 4 students. You will find more information on Tier4 part-time study on UCL's immigration and visas web page.
Losing full-time student benefits
If you change to part-time or modular/flexible study, you may lose full-time student benefits such as TfL student oyster card and council tax exemption.
