28 Days of Sustainability is back and better than ever! Running from Monday 12th February until Sunday 10th March, Sustainable UCL invites you to participate in 28 days of sustainable events.

What is 28 Days of Sustainability?

A month of sustainability events organised by you – passionate individuals and groups within the UCL community – to raise awareness, inspire action, and foster dialogue on crucial sustainability and climate issues.

From workshops and panel discussions, to coffee chats and poster making, there's something for everyone. Whether you are a UCL student or staff, you are welcome to join!

Events relate to the three foundations underpinning UCL’s Sustainability Strategy:

  1. UCL Inspires Action – inspiring and empowering our peers, students, colleagues, and the wider world to take action on sustainability. Events include volunteer gardening, talks and speeches with the Climate Action Society, and a panel discussion on the future of our oceans.
  2. UCL Shapes the Debate – creating solutions and discussing ideas for a more sustainable world. Events include Sustainable UCL’s Climate Cuppas, a panel discussion on sustainability in law, and a talk on the intersection between football and climate change.
  3. UCL is Run Sustainably – making sure UCL and London is a sustainable place to work and live. Events include Sustainable UCL’s clothes Swap Shop and Bike Bonanza, the Repair Café, and a workshop on implementing nature-based solutions to the climate crisis on campus.
