Students will declare their module choices and time zone after early enrolment
22 July 2020
Most students will be invited to enrol from early August. From 3 September, all students will be asked to select their modules and confirm the time zone of their study location.
Early enrolment
This year, returning students and new PGT students will be invited to enrol from early August in a fully online process.
New undergraduate students will be invited to enrol after A-Level results day, 13 August.
At enrolment, all students will be asked where they intend to be living in Term 1:
- London
- Outside of London
- Outside the UK
- I don’t know
When they have completed the online process, Registry will undertake ID checks and send confirmation of enrolment to students.
Students will then have a UCL ID and log-in, but they will not start their programmes or have access to buildings, facilities or services until the start of term on 28 September.
Please note that students can amend their intended living location. Also, being based outside London does not necessarily mean they will be studying remotely. Similarly, living in London does not guarantee a student will choose to study face-to-face.
Module selection
The Module Catalogue will be updated on 17 August to include refreshed assessment information. On 1 September the online timetable will be published and will be linked from the module catalogue and Portico.
From 3 September, students will be invited to choose their modules based on this updated information.
Confirming remote or on-campus study
When submitting their module choices, we will ask students to declare whether they intend to study on campus or remotely.
Students who confirm that they will be studying remotely will be asked to confirm their time zone so that we are aware of their circumstances.
