Help shape professional development for Programme Leaders

The Arena Centre provides accredited professional development programmes, workshops and practice-sharing seminars for staff who teach or support teaching. We are currently reviewing our support for Programme Leaders are recruiting participants to help shape our future offer by attending a focus group. 

We want to better understand what kind of support you could have benefitted from when you first started the job - or indeed what support you still need now!

Who we would like to hear from

We are keen to hear from new Programme Leaders who have been in the role for approximately 2 years or less. We're particularly interested in hearing from those that have felt under-supported as they stepped into the role, or have experiences they would like to share about the support they received or would have liked to receive. Programme Leaders who have prior experience from other institutions are also welcome.

Where and when

We expect the focus group will last approximately 60-90 minutes during core hours and will take place online in the week commencing 3 January 2022.
