Gain professional recognition for your doctoral research supervision

UCL offers supervisors and those involved in doctoral education to gain professional recognition via the UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE). Since the UKCGE launched it's professional recognition scheme 2020, over 50 UCL supervisors have gained professional recognition.
The UKCGE offers recognition at two levels: Recognised Supervisor (for those who have seen doctoral candidates through final examination and completion) and Recognised Associate Supervisor (for those who have not yet seen doctoral candidates through final examination and completion, or who have informal roles in research supervision).
Support your application
UCL Arena Centre offers support for staff to gain recognition, and we are currently restructuring how we do this. Details of how we can support you will appear here in late October. We will also announce it in the education newsletter [sign-up link].
