Our funders

TIDAL N+ has been awarded of £948,972 funding from 1 September 2021 to 31st August 2024 by the EPSRC as a Healthcare Technologies New Challenges Network Plus (EP/W000717/1).    

In addition our partners have pledged £396,500 in kind over the 3 year period of the grant.

We are also working closely with Professor Malcolm Granat of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Prosthetics and Orthotics, who will be providing a PhD studentship worth £140,000 for the successful applicant to work between TIDAL and CDT partners, focusing on the issues of regulation of novel prosthetics and orthotics devices.
