The TRO showcases and promotes collaborations at UCL life and medical sciences events

29 June 2023

In June, the TRO team hit the road to participate in various UCL events, showcasing its exhibition booth and engaging with the aspiring biomedical research community to demonstrate the TRO's capabilities in accelerating translational research.

TRO at Neuroscience Symposium

The TRO team exhibited at a series of UCL and partner organizations' life and medical sciences events in June. These included the NIHR Great Ormond Street Hospital Biomedical Research Centre Showcase Event, UCL Neuroscience Symposium, Annual UCL IIT Science Symposium, NIHR Moorfields Biomedical Research Centre Open Day, and UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science 2023 - Sir Thomas Lewis Symposium.

During these events, the TRO team highlighted their expertise in supporting UCL researchers in realising their translational ambitions by providing insights into strategic advice, grant application support, project management, and more. With a strong focus on partnerships, the team also emphasised TRO's efforts in bridging the gap between industry and academia. Their aim is to establish collaborations that drive the development of therapeutic, device, and diagnostic innovations.
