UCL East welcomes its newest cohort of students with a vibrant Welcome Week!

From Monday the 23 September to Saturday 28 September, UCL East has been host to a vibrant mix of events welcoming our latest cohort of students. From welcome message takeovers on the London Stadium to V&A Latinx takeovers of Marshgate, there has been no shortage of events to get new students into the community spirit of UCL East and our East Bank neighbours.

Welcome Week gives our new students a chance to familiarise themselves with the UCL East campus, meet the UCL teaching staff and make new friends before teaching starts in earnest. It's also a great opportunity for them to discover the many Students' Union UCL societies they can join during their time at UCL. As one of the biggest Students' Unions in the country, Students' Union UCL has over 400 clubs and societies for students to join.

Welcome timetable

This Welcome Week marks only the third at our new campus, which continues to grow each year. Think you might be interested in becoming part of the UCL East community? Check out our Undergraduate Open Afternoon in October 2024 and keep an eye out for our Postgraduate Open Evening in February 2025.
