Mobile and AI-driven solutions in healthcare have undergone major transformations over the years. New technologies offer exciting opportunities, yet it is important to ensure that these solutions are not only innovative but also reliable, sustainable, safe, affordable, and non-intrusive. Research needs to prioritise personalised care that meets individual needs and preferences. In this seminar, the speaker will share examples from past and present projects. These include the use of flexible sensors, AI-driven solutions for diabetes management, and leveraging AI-powered tools to identify harmful content on social media platforms related to body image and eating disorders. Challenges, opportunities and future directions for mobile computing and applied AI in health care will also be discussed.

The seminar is also available for remote participation on Zoom: https://ucl.zoom.us/j/96907322974?pwd=19lvpFvS1U2ii7l4owA4wOS1P56QES.1 (Meeting ID: 969 0732 2974; Passcode: 199386)
