Exploring the impact of assistive technology

UCLIC and GDI Hub Research Fellow Maryam Bandukda recently showcased her work at the UK Council on Deafness 2024 Conference. Dr Bandukda presented part of her research on ‘Storytelling for disability rights and assistive technology advocacy’ and findings from the ATscale, the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology and Google funded project exploring the ‘impact of smartphones as assistive technology for people with hearing impairments in lower and middle income countries’
