GDI Hub & Indian partners launch Attvaran, an early-stage assistive technology start-up accelerator

GDI Hub collaborated with IIT Delhi and IIT Madras in India to launch Attvaran, an early-stage assistive technology start-up accelerator. This accelerator will support 20 assistive technology start-ups in growing over the next six months. GDI Hub and UCL have brought diverse partners to collaborate, including local non-governmental organisations, disabled people’s organisations, research centres, start-up incubation hubs, corporate business mentors, start-up investors, event partners and disability experts, to facilitate and support start-ups in growing and improving their businesses.

The quality and rigour this programme brings to the ecosystem can help start-ups scale their solutions to more people with disabilities in the Global South.
