'HuddleLamp' paper awarded 10-year Impact Award

In this seminal paper, published 10 years ago, the authors presented a novel hybrid sensing approach that uses RGB and depth data to increase tracking quality and a technical evaluation of its capabilities and limitations
A paper authored by UCLIC Director, Professor Yvonne Rogers et al. recently received the 10-Year Impact Award from from the ACM Conference on Interactive Surfaces and Spaces.
Published in November 2014, 'HuddleLamp: Spatially-Aware Mobile Displays for Ad-hoc Around-the-Table Collaboration' showcased a desk lamp with an integrated RGB-D camera able to track the movements and positions of mobile displays and hands on a table.
