UCL-UCU: Stop Rwanda Protest

#STOP RWANDA DETENTION POLICY - Protest

UCL UCU supports the campaign to end the UK Government’s plans to deport refugees to Rwanda. 

There was overwhelming support from members at our General Meeting of members on 5 May, when the branch passed a motion to call on UCU nationally to support this campaign.

The Government’s plan is being challenged by a wide range of civil society organisations including trade unions, the TUC, and Amnesty International. The case is back in the Supreme Court on Monday.

Please support the protest from 9am at the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand, next Monday 5th September (nearest tube Aldwych). There will be an in-person rally from 1-2pm with a wide range of speakers.
